Seattle Sounders Cruise Past Brommapojkarna 3-0 in Spain Friendly
Seattle Sounders FC secured a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Swedish side IF Brommapojkarna on Saturday at the Marbella Football Center in Spain, building momentum in their preseason preparations ahead of the 2026 MLS campaign.
The match, played in an extended three-period format of 45 minutes each, saw Kalani Kossa-Rienzi open the scoring in the 31st minute off an assist from Snyder Brunell. Jesús Ferreira added insurance with two late strikes in the 85th and 97th minutes, with Georgi Minoungou and Osaze De Rosario providing the assists respectively.
Goalkeepers Andrew Thomas and Max Anchor combined for the clean sheet, sharing duties across the extended match format as head coach tested his roster depth during the preseason fixture.
The Sounders continue their Spanish training camp with a busy schedule ahead. Seattle faces a double-header on February 5 against Hammarby IF and FC Metalist 1925, followed by a meeting with Louisville City FC on February 15. The club opens its 2026 regular season on February 22 with a home fixture against the Colorado Rapids.
