Seattle Sounders Add Swedish Friendly to Preseason Schedule in Spain
Seattle Sounders FC will face Swedish side IF Brommapojkarna in a preseason friendly on Saturday, January 31, at 5:00 a.m. PT at the Estepona Football Center in Málaga, Spain.
The match represents another addition to the Sounders’ European training camp as the club continues preparations for the 2026 MLS season. Seattle most recently fell 2-0 to Danish outfit IF Brøndby on January 23 in their previous exhibition.
IF Brommapojkarna, commonly known as BP, competes in Sweden’s second tier and provides the Sounders with another opportunity to fine-tune tactics and evaluate roster depth ahead of the regular season.
Following the encounter with Brommapojkarna, Seattle will remain in Europe for back-to-back matches on February 5 against Swedish club Hammarby IF and Ukrainian side Metalist FC 1925. The Sounders will close their preseason schedule with a domestic friendly against USL Championship’s Louisville City FC on February 15.
